Screening Braid
ISG's screening braid products deliver high-performance electromagnetic and radio frequency interference shielding for defence electronics, avionics and sensitive industrial signal cables. Manufactured from tin-plated copper, silver-plated copper, stainless steel and aluminium, our braid products are engineered to provide consistent optical coverage from 85% to 98% with precise carrier and end counts to meet specific shielding effectiveness targets.
Available as overbraid applied directly to existing cable runs or as separate sleeving for harness-level shielding, products comply with MIL-DTL-13716, SAE AS4373 and IEC 61196 series standards. DC resistance and transfer impedance characteristics are fully documented to support system EMC analysis and qualification.
